Our Mission
Create a resilient, sovereign, allied battery manufacturing ecosystem.
Capable of producing advanced battery cells, packs, materials, equipment, and energy-storage systems at scale.
Mission
Create a resilient, sovereign, allied battery manufacturing ecosystem capable of producing advanced battery cells, packs, materials, equipment, and energy-storage systems at scale.
Vision
Establish the United States and its allies as the global leaders in advanced battery manufacturing, energy security, and industrial resilience.
The Five Strategic Pillars
Five mutually reinforcing commitments.
Pillar 01
Battery Foundries
Develop shared, trusted-source contract manufacturing facilities capable of producing cells, packs, and integrated systems for multiple companies. The customer brings the design and chemistry; the foundry manufactures under qualified contract.
Pillar 02
Equipment Independence
Rebuild domestic battery manufacturing-equipment capability and reduce reliance on imported tooling — the most overlooked segment of the value chain and a prerequisite for true sovereignty.
Pillar 03
Materials Security
Establish resilient, increasingly closed-loop supply chains for lithium, graphite, nickel, cobalt, silicon, electrolytes, and separators — including direct recycling to reduce primary-mineral dependence.
Pillar 04
Workforce Development
Train the next generation of battery manufacturing professionals through certified curricula tied directly to foundry operating roles, in partnership with universities and workforce organizations.
Pillar 05
NATO & Allied Collaboration
Build a transatlantic battery manufacturing ecosystem in which allied partners contribute capital and facilities while the Alliance contributes proven processes, qualification, and workforce startup.
