Origin & Vision
The Origin and Vision of the U.S.-FAB Alliance
Strengthening America's industrial base by uniting manufacturers, technology developers, investors, defense contractors, utilities, universities, national laboratories, workforce organizations, and government stakeholders into a unified ecosystem.
Founding Purpose
The U.S.-FAB Alliance was established to strengthen America's industrial base by connecting manufacturers, technology developers, investors, defense contractors, utilities, universities, national laboratories, workforce organizations, and government stakeholders into a unified ecosystem focused on accelerating domestic manufacturing, technology commercialization, supply chain resiliency, and economic growth.
The Challenge
Barriers to rebuilding American manufacturing leadership.
While the United States continues to lead in innovation, many critical technologies struggle to transition from research and development into scalable domestic production.
Fragmented supply chains across critical industries.
Persistent workforce shortages in advanced manufacturing.
Capital constraints preventing scaled domestic production.
Foreign dependency in strategically vital sectors.
Limited collaboration across industry, academia, and government.
The Response
To address these challenges, A113 Venture Fund initiated the development of the U.S.-FAB Alliance as a collaborative platform designed to unite industry, government, academia, and investors around a common mission: strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities across strategically important sectors while accelerating the commercialization of next-generation technologies.
